Rahn Harper released a three-track EP today, putting a more intimate take on his pop-oriented tracks with acoustic versions of “Lovers & Enemies.” Stripped down to a shining guitar and his vocals, you get a full scope of not only Harper’s ability as a performer, but his songwriting takes focus as well. There’s still layered vocals to give the tracks a little more depth, but these records hit differently overall when given the acoustic treatment. Check out the EP here below:

The combination of Rahn Harper and Mic Kellogg is a potent one, and the two link up again for a strong new track on “All The Time,” which dropped this past Friday. The song is about being busy, and sometimes that gets in the way of a relationship. Harper and Kellogg trade lines, talking about how the chase after money and fame can become a burden, especially when the window to get to those things can close at any time. The mellow production is perfect for the duo to croon in their own respective styles, and it makes the track something special. Check it out here:

Rahn Harper has a new single out today, and he’s waving hi to the haters alongside Portland’s SuaveTheJedi with “180.” The song is about looking back at the people that counted you out, especially in Harper’s case, as he continues to build up his sound and his bank account. The track brings pop elements into a hip hop realm, with the beat being guided along by a sweeping guitar. Rahn Harper and SuaveTheJedi were down bad, but they got it all back and then some with “180.” Check it out here:

Just days after releasing his newest single, “Impossible To Love,” Rahn Harper has a pair of remixes to bring to the world as well. Tapping the services of producers Crystal Knives and Ish D, Harper’s vocals take on a new life, with Crystal Knives bringing a more electronic feel to the first remix. Ish D goes full drum and bass with his take on the song, making for an even higher energy version of the pop song. Shortly after the release of his “Water & Oil” EP, Rahn Harper kept the momentum going with the video for “Halo.” The downtempo track is about needing the right person in his life, with a chilled out beat providing the soundtrack for Harper’s monologue of a song. Trust and respect are important to the singer, and you get that sentiment from both the lyrics and his vocal tones. The video from Frey Visuals brings Harper to the beach to perform the track, in a very reflective feeling clip.
