Jacob Slade recently released a new pair of tracks, and he allows things to go in a different direction sonically on “Rain Check.” The lead single explores electro-pop sounds with some lo-fi elements mixed in, while Slade creates a melody about staying back while everyone else goes out. The song is paired with recently released “Exhale,” which puts the guitar back in play just a bit, but also explores the electronic side of things.
