Synth-pop act Clear Pioneer have a way of making some of the most catchy music with their earlier efforts, and that continues with their latest release, “What I Already Am”. Released last week via N43 Records, the track features a bouncing bass line, and layered synth patterns that compliment frontman Grant Clementi’s calm, reserved vocal peformance well. There’s a certain funkiness about this track that would make fans of acts like Prince and Shalamar proud, but contemporary pop and EDM acts will appreciate their sound as well.
