Singer-songwriter Shonn Hinton dropped a new EP this week following up his massive 22-track album “Art” released in February. With a potent blend of R&B, soul and blues, Hinton is feeling tender and resolute over six tracks. These songs bring not only contagiously danceable rhythms but have euphoric and empowering sensibilities to them, from the purposive “Can’t Let Go” to the flirtatious bump of “Body This Blessing” to the heart eyed “Look Good on You.” That said, he isn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions around his love interest’s intentions, hence the song “No Where (Where Are We Going)”. “Meanwhile” finds Shonn Hinton keeping his 2023 moving with romance on his mind.
