VIDEO: Immortal Girlfriend – “Others”
Synthwave duo Immortal Girlfriend have a new video/short film to accompany their recent single “Others.” It features a couple moving into a new house, excited to share the space together. Eventually they run into personal conflicts that turn violent; the woman attacks and knocks the man unconscious, dragging him into a secret underground room. He wakes up and finds other men chained up and wearing strange goggles; he escapes but runs straight into the woman again. After a brief struggle that sets the house on fire, he smashes a vase over her head, revealing her to be a cyborg. She chases him out of the house, where he realizes everyone in the neighborhood is also wearing the goggles, having their minds controlled. Immortal Girlfriend bring a solid sci-fi thriller to accompany their song, directed by Bash.
