Brett Newski has another track up, this time with a stripped down, energetic single called “I Should’ve Listened to Ferris Bueller.” The track features Steven Page of Barenaked Ladies, an early inspiration of Newski at a young age. The song also comes from an earlier time, with lyrics from a rediscovered high school notebook. “I Should’ve Listened to Ferris Bueller” is the lead track from “It’s Hard to Be A Person,” a new book and album that Newski is compiling with life hacks and quirky illustrations. It’s a piece to truly be proud of, as well as a catchy pop tune. Check out the song below:
