One of the frequent names on the house show scene, singer/songwriter Michah Foust, aka So Zuppy, is ready to step out with his new album, “Homesick Mountain”. The project is his second full-length, and a strong showing, with a blissful combination of acoustic guitars and electronic elements. Foust finds a way to take the serene and expand upon it, with tracks that almost have elements of house and psych at times, such as “Skull” and “B.B. Gun”. A layering of buzzy synths creates a swell to these songs, and Foust’s vocals guide you through the trippier elements of the record.
