Indie pop duo Reyna always have big things on the horizon it seems, but just after being named as one of the most recent Backline selections, the Banuelos sisters are back with a new single, “The Way I Loved You”. The song is built around a grooving bass line, and has summer pop written all over it. In many cases, it might be hard to make a song about longing for someone upbeat and fun, but Reyna manage to do that with this extra-polished single. We’ve heard that the duo have plenty of things in the works, including a Summerfest appearance this year, and undoubtedly the Backline will only streamline things for the band.
