AUDIO: Dead Horses – “Family Tapes”

Milwaukee-based indie-folk duo Dead Horses have a knack for making some of the catchiest music that you can possibly create with an acoustic guitar and upright bass. There’s further evidence of that on their latest single, “Family Tapes”. The track is upbeat, with vocals from Sarah Vos shining throughout. The band’s best qualities are in their writing, however, with the ability to make each track truly authentic and heartfelt within just a matter of a verse. We already know the band is touring extensively through April, including a cruise to Jamaica and Mexico alongside acts like Jason Isabell and the 400 Unit and Emmylou Harris, so we can only assume that means we’ll hear more music for the band to support in the coming months.
