As a label, electronic collective Nice FM has made compilation mixes their calling card, and their latest release continues in that tradition. “Comp6Sunrise” features 17 different artists, curated and mixed by label head Dashcam to blend together seamlessly. The tracks all share the common sonic threads of having Nice FM’s signature retro-glaze, but this mix allows all of the associated acts to shine. Tracks from Strehlow, Christian Shebesta, Luxi, Plaid Hawaii, and Big Beat MKE 3rd Place competitor Hot Science all stand out, but the mix overall works well to provide over an hour of chill vaporwave-influenced electronica.
