If you took Milwaukee producer Dashcam, punk band Sex Scenes, Gloss Records, and frankly much of the 80s in general, and threw them all in a blender, I think this is what you get. Fresh off of the release of his “Dreamwave” EP at the beginning of the year, the Nice FM quarterback has this bonus track, a cover of Peter Godwin’s “Images Of Heaven”, featuring Rex Everything from Sex Scenes on vocals. There’s the distinct Dashcam sound, with a glaze of retro euphoria throughout, and the source material works well for the cover. This might be a more obscure release in the grand scheme of things, but an effective extra freebie for fans of “Dreamwave”. Check out the track below:
