AUDIO: trashgh0st – “Gloriawave”

So, if you dig deep enough on the internet, turns out you can find some pretty unique music concepts, and sometimes, they’re even right in your own backyard. It should be known that I have a secret appreciation for vaporwave, a retro-glazed style of electronic pop music, and I also at one point in my early years stole my mother’s Gloria Estefan cassette tape. So when Milwaukee¬† producer trashgh0st released his new EP, “Gloriawave”, of course I was interested. Featuring slowed down, chopped up, funky versions of Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine’s tracks, this is a weird lucid dream come to life. There’s eight tracks in total, and if you’re a fan of vaporwave, Gloria Estefan, or neither, this is worth a spin just for the quirkiness of the project.
