Milwaukee indie-pop outfit Oh Geeez, Not Again continues their upward trajectory with the release of My Kind of Story, Vol. 2, a vibrant four-track EP that dropped on May 6th.

The quartet—featuring Sean McGibany, Jack Gilmond, Alex Dollenmayer, and company—has been on a tear over the past year, racking up features across local outlets including Radio Milwaukee and WMSE’s Local/Live sessions. This latest installment picks up where its predecessor left off, delivering the band’s signature blend of high-energy hooks and playful, adventurous songwriting.

Leading off the EP is “First Impressions – Demo,” a bouncy, uptempo track clocking in at just under three and a half minutes. The song channels pure adrenaline with punchy energy (the track registers an impressive 0.94 on Spotify’s energy scale) and an infectious groove that begs you to move. At 150 BPM, it hits that sweet spot between a house party anthem and late-night driving soundtrack.
