Punk stalwarts IfIHadAHiFi have returned with a vengeance on their latest EP, “Paws in the Bacon Grease,” which came out earlier this month. The new material finds the band in typically ferocious form, delivering their signature blend of angular, noise-punk fury with the kind of raw intensity that has made them a fixture in Milwaukee’s DIY circuit for years. “Paws in the Bacon Grease” crackles with the same unhinged energy that has defined IfIHadAHiFi’s sound—jagged guitar riffs slice through pummeling rhythms while vocals alternate between sardonic sneers and throat-shredding howls.
