There is beauty in the melancholy. VLNTYN, the darker project from singer/songwriter Jorge Vallentine explores that on a new EP, “The Darker Side of Being Human.” Across three tracks, he thinks deeply about the world, with acoustic tracks accompanied by big electric solos. The title track is especially emotional, baring his soul about some dark times in his past. Part storyteller as well, VLNTYN knows how to captivate, and does exactly that on this release.
