Punk band Misprints have their debut cassette tape out as of last month, and “Stars” is a four-track EP that feels both technically sound while still maintaining a DIY sonic ethos. The lifeblood of this project are the razor-sharp guitar riffs that drive each song forward, with catchy vocals that play off the guitar’s lead. Each song is relatively short, but packs a punch, the way DIY punk should be. A limited number of casettes are available via Ragdoll Records, and you can listen to the tape here:
