Mulva have a new EP out, and it absolutely crushes. “Optimistic Little Man” leans into pop punk and turn-of-the-millenium alternative as it pleases, and feels like a refresh of both genres. The band bring layers of guitars and petty angst together in a powerful package, and whether they’re talking about finding something weird to do, or just someone that needs to shut up, they do it with full force.
