Micah Emrich released his sophomore full-length project on Friday, and he’s arguably at his smoothest on “Promises.” The 10-track project blends smooth R&B with soulful guitar licks and just a bit of hip hop swagger as well. Emrich comes from the heart with his vocal delivery, with earworm melodies at each twist and turn along the way.
