Okay Omen’s newest single, “Headlock,” holds nothing back. The band rip through this one, all while maintaining the technical guitar work and punishing drums that have become their calling card. It’s Midwest emo with an edge, as the guitars and vocals hold equal weight in the mix. The band throw their all into this one, and it shows in just under four minutes of melodic post-punk. “Headlock” is the second single from the band’s upcoming EP “Echoes of Loss” which will be out later this summer.
