Cow punks Rat Bath are back in action, bringing their twang and infusion of DIY ethos to their new single, “Mercy I Cried.” The song is about the torment of a ill fated relationship, with singer Fred Kenyon leading the way, talking about how they would do anything to rid themselves of the pain. “Mercy I Cried” is part of a larger chain of developments for Rat Bath, as they recently announced the “Call Me A Monster” murder country rock opera, which will take place on November 10th at The Back Room at Colectivo alongside Gold Steps and Kat and the Hurricane.
