Christopher Dallman dropped a new EP recently, and he’s developing his sound on the “Cloud Nine” project. The three-song release is about growth, both from a sonic perspective and as a person. Dallman mixes glitchy, electro pop production with both natural and autotuned vocals to give everything the right blend of synthetic and organic. The title track is arguably the strongest on the EP, with a glitchy breakdown and experimentation with spastic drum patterns. Dallman just announced a new album, “Origin Story,” out in December, and this is certainly a welcome precursor. Check it out here:
