Wax Cherubs released a new record at the beginning of the month, and it blends a little bit of everything together. “And The Sky’s Warm Blood” features acoustic guitars that mesh seamlessly with 808 beats, electric guitars that float with atmospheric layers, and vocals over all of it to bring things together. Over the course of seven songs, the record has enough sonic exploration to make you think that anything is really possible when it comes to what should feel like dissonant genres.
