AUDIO: Ashley Altadonna – “A Minor Requiem”
Singer/songwriter Ashley Altadonna has her first single out from her upcoming EP, “A Minor Requiem.” The song was written during the early days of lockdown in the pandemic, and captures the uncertainty and anxiety around being separated from the world. A dark guitar line is at the center of the song, as vocals from Altadonna and Joshua Wayne Hensley harmonize over not knowing what the future holds. While we had a lot of music that reflected these themes during the course of 2021 and 2022, revisiting that time in context now takes you back to the rawness of the moment.
