AUDIO: Duzt – “Ascetic Aesthetic”

Indie pop act Duzt are out with their sophomore LP. It’s seven songs fueled by spiritual joy, touching on topics like rebirth, self-investment, the universe unfolding as it should, living in tranquility and liberation from oppression. Rae Bu Luck and Aytan Luck bring a raw, skeletal approach to the production utilizing mostly guitars plus some piano and violin, giving things a bit of an Americana feel. “In this world today the purest hearts are called crazy” they sing, recognizing that our individualistic society punishes those who act out of love for others. Duzt dwell in the euphoria of a better world and grasp for higher consciousness with “Ascetic Aesthetic.”
