Merging hip hop and glitchy, experimental electronic pop, Kill.Dawn is doing something unique on their latest EP, “Type Beat.” Whether it be distorted bass or club-ready claps, everything is on point with this release, which lives comfortably in its own sonic space over the course of five tracks. From one cut to the next, the feel changes entirely here, but Kill.Dawn’s synthetic vocals act like a bonding unit to bring everything together. “Type Beat is the latest in an extensive list of drops from Kill.Dawn this year, but its certainly a strong way to cap off the year.
