Country singer/songwriter Alyssia Dominguez has a distinct pop element to her sound, and she uses that to her advantage on recent single “Where We Left Off.” Vocal melodies are Dominguez’s strong suit here, as she talks about those initial moments of falling for someone, and the excitement of a physical attraction. When she locks into the groove of the track, there’s the potential for a smash crossover hit, and she certainly does that here. Following her debut album, Dominguez has put out a string of singles over the past few years, and this particular one shows her potential to have something catch fire quickly.
