AUDIO: Death Tape Super Bass – “Organ Grinder”
Experimental noise project Death Tape Super Bass released yet another tape last week. Adam Steinmetz utilizes modular synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, and other sound toys to assemble this collection of minimalist techno embedded with a couple abstract noise cuts (“Small Man, Big Head” and “Hollandaise in the Sun”). Death Tape Super Bass records are a reliably zany sequence, and “Organ Grinder” is a welcome continuation.
