Singer/songwriter Hanna Simone has a new album out, and she’s at her strongest on “Spaceship.” The release has eight songs, each of which showing different facets of Simone’s game as writer and performer. Whether harmonizing over live sounds and acoustic guitars or more synthetic elements, she shines while getting moody about relationships and stress. With features from Cam Spann on “Hard To Find” and Casmir Riley on the title track, there’s a lot of potential with the way that she sequences not only the album but the flow of songs in their own right. “Spaceship” could very well be a jumping off point for Hanna Simone, and you should give it a spin below:
