HogHead is a new project that finds Eliot Hess and Tom Olwig of math rock duo Beach Burial joining forces with Milwaukee noise icon Peter J. Woods. Entirely instrumental, their debut album feels like a walk through the neighborhood during the pandemic with a head full of chaotic feelings. The Hogs have fun with complex melodies, where the riffs and percussion barrel full speed into meticulous equilibrium. We look forward to what’s to come with HogHead in the future, and this record is an exciting start.
