Night Again is the indie rock project of Milwaukee expat Jamie Yanda – he’s out with his debut album. Incorporating elements ranging from post-hardcore to folk, this record finds Yanda contemplating the shifting patterns of thoughts as they meander between light and darkness. He enlists former bandmates on several tracks, evoking a sense of creative familiarity while also challenging stylistic expectations through a palpable sense of renewal. Lyrics touch on themes of memory, change, sense of place, faith, and the feeling of falling – all applicable concepts to our relative states of affairs. Night Again ruminates on the past, present and future with “Out of Body.”
