VIDEO: Social Caterpillar – “Anti-Prayer”

Psych-chamber folk band Social Caterpillar are gearing up for their new album “When You Woke Up To Dances of Light” due at the end of April, and they’ve got their first single and video out ahead of it. The video is shot by Chloe Cocoran and features the band playing in black-and-white shots with some added visual effects mirroring lyrics (“they came shrouded in night kissing a crucifix dressed in black”). The song critiques the momentary bliss that prayers suffice, where one may feel ever-so hollow after that moment passes. We’re very excited for Social Caterpillar’s upcoming album – stay tuned!
