AUDIO: Spectral Display – “Lay All Your Love On Me”

Spectral Display are smashing through the 2022 electronic pop space with their new release, ‘Lay All Your Love On Me’. The track is the first of the year for the group and the perfect opener for the new era!

A powerful electronic dance beat leads the way, and Michel, the track’s songwriter, manages to push the group’s sound outside of the box while staying true to the concept they’ve been exploring since the 1980s. He brings new qualities to the forefront of the mix, and he manages to blend in with the modern chart while maintaining their signature touch in the production. Also, as the song proceeds, a myriad of new sounds appear, adding to the band’s already impressive sound library and introducing us to a new realm of electronic pop rock.

Paul Simon’s vocals are in terrific shape, and he’s doing everything a major pop vocalist should be doing. He exudes a commanding assurance many will find difficult to resist, and he experiments with his vocal toolset, switching between low and high notes with ease. In addition, his lyrics mirror what many people want in the world, and he desires others to show more love in the world. He doesn’t want to see hate, only love, and it’s a message that many people can connect to in these troubled times, which we are experiencing in 2022.
