AUDIO: Night Crickets – “A Free Society”

Night Crickets, an experimental collaboration between David J, Victor DeLorenzo, and Darwin Meiners, have their debut record out. Conceptually developed during the lockdown days and eventually creating a full body of work, the band lock into their individual grooves and mesh together well on 13 songs. Some of the tracks feel isolated and desolate, kind of like what was going on in the world at the time, and others are very lively, yet more exploratory. It feels like any sort of musical boundaries are off here, and much like the album title suggests, the record is a place for Night Crickets to create without restriction.
