After much anticipation, metalcore act I, Manifest’s “Nihilist” EP is here. With five tracks, including previously released singles “Scapegoat” and “Cynic,” the band brings the pain on this release. Incorporating synths and electronic elements behind their already punishing low end gives these songs some atmospheric depth, all while screaming vocals bring out the maximum intensity. “Nihilist” is a ball of fury in musical form, and an overall solid second effort from the young act.
