AUDIO: Noah Lema – “One For You”

The best way to describe Noah Lema and Anderton’s new single is “nostalgic pop in a modern setting.” The title is ‘One For You .’ It takes cues from previous generations while still forging a new path forward.

Noah puts his best foot forward with a production that can’t go wrong in the eyes of someone who like safe pop. He has a bubblegum-like delivery that will appeal to a younger audience. It’s lighthearted with a positive vibe. Noah also doesn’t forget about his older audience, and the aura that pours out of the mix will transport them to the 1980s and 1990s.

Music trends follow a cyclical pattern, and every genre and style that has had its day will have another. But it’s safe to say that we weren’t expecting Noah’s zest to return so soon, given how out of step he is with the rest of the current music industry. There aren’t many artists that can deliver a track like this, and it’s what keeps Noah one step ahead, which is quite a contrast given how far back he’s gone with his technique.

Anderton provides the lead vocals. He is still a relatively obscure singer, and there isn’t much information about him available online. It’s a shame because he’s in terrific vocal shape and deserves a lot of credit for allowing Noah’s vision to fruition.
