Dungeon-drone synth project Psyclopean’s latest record is inspired by the fantasy fiction of Lord Dunsany. The story entails a classified government program that develops technology to record the dreams of a test subject. As such, these compositions represent the unfathomable realms of the subconscious. To make it all the more eerie, we don’t know where these paths all lead to, as they’re all blanketed by a fuzzy lo-fi aesthetic. There’s eighteen tracks total as many different people and places are hovered over. The planes of a mind’s oceanic vastness are explored with Psyclopean leading the way – check it out.
