Shoegaze artist Shamewave has a new EP out today, consisting of three tracks. We get immersed into Cody Ratley’s shadowy, textural world of oceanic sound pools and imaginatively dark lyrics. The second track is a cover of Cheap Trick’s “Heaven Tonight” while Ratley’s originals touch on dreading to make it safely into the realm of angels. The EP is dedicated to Beth Ann Bosworth.
