Producer Fedswantrick worked with an array of Milwaukee and Chicago artists to bring this new single. The song blends soul, R&B, dream pop, and hip hop into a tune featuring several verses and an ethereal guitar line. The chorus is about moving too fast in life and getting more than what you asked for. The artists each remind us to take a breath, look around, and not be so hard on ourselves. There’s some political messages about police violence embedded as well, assuring that the movement for justice won’t ever stop. It’s a brilliant collaborative effort, and we hope Fedswantrick releases more music like this in the future.
