AUDIO: North Breese – “Miles Down the Road”

Emo rockers North Breese have their highly-anticipated record out. The band channels passion, rage, and angst over eleven tracks. While most are upbeat and hype us up, “Some Type of Way” stands out as a downtempo piano tune about never letting go of somebody. “Platypus” is about finding your way through a world you don’t feel you fit into while “Deer in the Headlights” is about feeling paralyzed. North Breese touch heavily on the idea of immobilization; their music is anthemic to those moments of dread and fear we feel powerless in. It’s a righteous attitude to have in these chaotic times, and we’re confident many will connect with their new record.
