AUDIO: Dupond Dupont – “The Making of DR. Weisner (with help from so many people)”

Folk punk fixture Dupond Dupont recently released a new album – their first in five years. Featuring piano-driven themes of confusion, loneliness, and despair, it’s a listening experience akin to your heart and your brain both feeling empty at the same time. There’s baritone sax, various strings, backing vocals, and peppered-in percussion that embellish Corinne Weisner’s sorrowful journey. The album’s title references how her past relationships have shaped the person she is now. This record will certainly resonate with those stuck in introspect during quarantine, for sure.
