It seems like just yesterday that Eli $tones dropped his stellar EP “Star67” but he’s already out with a dope new track. In this one he raps about seeing “purple skies in the rain like he’s codeine dreaming,” referring to getting intoxicated in order to cope with it not working out with someone he would’ve done anything for. He owns what he’s going through and continues treading forward. Similar to his last project, the song has a somber feeling but also a strong semblance of thick skin from $tones. The rapper has been on a roll with incorporating personal growth into his music and we look forward to more. He really seems to like the color purple.
