Drag queen and pop artist Miss Birdee has been dropping songs the last few months, and her latest is an infectious electro-pop tune about someone being up in the data in her phone, so she’s got to call her service provider and change her lock. There’s no trust with this person despite her wishing they could make up. She finds out they’ve been telling lies about them so she’s got no choice but to move on. Although it’s a song about betrayal and mistrust, there’s a glowing summer energy that makes it ideal for a dance party by the water. Birdee has some delightful pop sensibilities here and we look forward to seeing the music video.
