AUDIO: Telechrome – “Figure And Ground”

The lines between indie rock and experimental electronic get a little bit blurrier with the latest record from Madison band Telechrome, whose “Figure And Ground” came out earlier this month. With plenty of krautrock-esque synths put into the largely instrumental tracks, the record feels like a prolonged jam session that keeps integrating new pieces. Songs like “Echo Meadow” feel dark and disorienting, and then immediately get followed by a more rock-centric track in “Mind The Wall”. The EP also feels like it plays incredibly well live, based on the amount of energy carried out in these songs. There’s a lot going on within “Figure And Ground”, and you can check it out here below:
