The first full length from Milwaukee punks Population Control is a blistering release. “Death Toll” builds upon the band’s debut EP, and the Beer City Records release doesn’t slow up for anything that might get in its way. In ten heart-pumping tracks, the band show you what they’re all about, with technical drum parts and guitar lines, and growling metalcore vocals throughout. With an emphasis on both speed and power, songs like “From Where The Rotting Stench Came” and “Terminal Choke” will have you thrashing along. It’s not easy to do what Population Control does by any means, and they do it well on this album. Check out “Death Toll” here below:
