AUDIO: Rose Of The West – “Love Lies Bleeding”
Milwaukee’s Rose of the West is gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album later this spring, and last Friday, they debuted the second single from the project, “Love Lies Bleeding”. A more dramatic track than buzzy single “Roads” that preceded it, “Love Lies Bleeding” gives an idea to the depth of music that the indie pop outfit will be releasing on their album. A dark sequence of synth chords carry this track, and while there’s a more subdued energy that picks up in the chorus, there’s a tremendous amount of commercial appeal to this new song. “Rose Of The West” is set to come out on April 5th via Communicating Vessels, which the band will celebrate with a release show at Mad Planet on April 6th, and you can check out “Love Lies Bleeding” below:
