Milwaukee / now Louisiana based indie pop outfit GGOOLLDD are back with the first single following their 2017 EP, “Teeth”, and it captures the band at their spunkiest. “Success” is a party ready song, full of the glitz, glamour and excess that you would expect from a band named after a precious metal. Upbeat as ever, the band bounces around on this song, with playful lyrics like “we won’t remember who kissed who / but we’re all still cool”. It’s hard to believe that the band hadn’t put out a song in over a year, but have been relentlessly touring and recording for the most part. “Success” sounds like the beginning of something bigger on the horizon from the band, and you can check out the single below:
