With an impressive first collection of singles out, Beach Static is a young band to watch heading into 2019. With a clear influence from bands like Wavves, the band has the elements to making youthful, catchy surf punk perfected on their first EP, “Games”. Featuring previous singles “Kids & Career”, “Twister” and “Drowning In You”, the band elaborates on the work that they had already put out, placing it within the context of a full body of work. “Games” is enough to get you hooked on Beach Static for a long time, which is fitting, because they definitely have a long run of making excellent music ahead of themselves.
