Rio Turbo made the most of their spring, touring Japan with fellow Milwaukeeans Detenzione. The trip took them across the country, from bath houses to DIY venues and everywhere in between. While it was largely a punk tour, much of what Rio Turbo does on stage is very punk in essence, letting loose in a flurry of strobe lights, glitter, and excess that will leave you wondering what you just experienced by the time that their set is finished. With that said, the group also released three new tracks that were part of the tour set, and you can check out the “Tour Japan” EP below:
