AUDIO: ZeroGravity – “Danger”

The latest track from EDM producer ZeroGravity is the song you escape certain doom with. Beginning with what sounds like an alarm blaring, the bass drop brings us into a fuzzy daze juxtaposed with a xylophone melody. It’s a very interesting experiment – one that takes you into an intergalactic space chase. We are excited about the music coming from Milwaukee’s EDM scene and look forward to seeing what ZeroGravity and Faceless Future Collective work on next.

AUDIO: Midwest Death Rattle – “Square Wave”

It’s been a little bit since we’ve heard something new from Midwest Death Rattle; the Milwaukee psyche-pop quintet’s last album was released in May 2016. That changed over the weekend, however, as the band released their new EP, “Square Wave”. The project is five tracks of entrancing organ-driven indie rock, with a certain catchiness about it that makes you want to play it again as soon as it’s over. Tracks like “Party’s Over” and ender “DANGer” will likely be staples of the band’s set this summer, with an upbeat sound that lends itself to street festivals aplenty. There’s a lot of great songwriting on this EP, and it should play well in a live context. Check out “Square Wave” below:
