Milwaukee hip-hop collective Run Along Forever continues its mission to build bridges across the city’s scene with their new album Inside of a Black Bear, out now via their signature collaborative approach.

The nine-track project features “Looking At Cars,” a joint effort with producer Tombo that clocks in at just over two minutes of moody, groove-heavy hip-hop. With a danceable energy wrapped in darker, introspective tones, the track strikes a balance between head-nodding rhythms and emotional depth—a signature combination for the RAF crew.

Run Along Forever, often helmed by Sunny Lou, has been steadily cementing its role as a connective force in Milwaukee hip-hop since their 2022 multi-artist compilation The Milwaukee Project. That release brought together voices from across the city, and Inside of a Black Bear continues that ethos, showcasing collaborative chemistry that feels less like a feature-heavy album and more like a family reunion.
